Songs From Sangamon Street is the debut album by Alex Duquette. It is comprised of nine songs, telling the stories of nine fictional characters living on Sangamon Street. Although the stories range greatly in topic matter, the core themes are parts of the human condition that we ALL experience: From the grander experiences of love, loss, and the passage of time -- to the smaller, (but equally important) specific moments, such as workplace conflicts, arguing with your significant other at the grocery store, and daydreaming with no money in your pockets.
